How to upload documents to the Entera service from an MFP (multifunction printer)

The standard way of uploading documents involves several steps: downloading the document and saving it on a PC, in some cases transferring it to a server, opening the Entera and uploading the documents. To save time when working with documents, we have come up with a solution - direct uploading from a multifunction printer (MFP). Now you can scan the document and immediately send it for recognition to the Entera service. To do this, your MFP must support email sending and be correctly configured. If you do not know whether your device supports this function, we recommend contacting your system administrator for preliminary setup.

To upload documents using this method, after the preliminary setup, you need to:

  1. Add the email address scan@entera.global to the list of recipients of your MFP.

  2. Check the email address of your MFP and send us a request to add this email address to the list of trusted emails. You can contact us by the email help@entera.global or through the "Help" - "Return call" button in Entera.

After the email is added to the trusted list, you will receive a response from our customer care service, and then you can start uploading documents. The process works as follows: you scan the necessary documents - through the user interface of your MFP, select our address scan@entera.global - and send the scans. After that, you can work with the documents in the same way as after a regular document upload through the Entera service.
